Almost 26 weeks... busy, busy, busy

25 Weeks & 6 days... (tomorrow will be 26 weeks) :)

Well, all is good! We have been busy around the house (like usual) and trying to do a little at a time. I have been having some pains that coincide with doing too much! I think it's a ligament or muscle being over worked in the top of my belly. No worries just my little alert that it's time to rest. Ray has been more than wonderful and takes great care of both of us. He is truly the best husband! Time is just flying by and I can't believe we are on the down hill slide to September. We have some very exciting events coming up that I promise I will share! Now onto the pictures!!

25 weeks 6 days pregnant (don't knock the great outfit) :)

Here is the bedding that Aunt Winnie & Uncle Brad bought for the baby!
The nursery (work in progress) don't mind the stool in the middle of the room
The beautiful dresser!
The nicely lined drawers (NB & 0-3month oensies from Aunt Natalie)

We hope that everyone is staying cool! We are ready for the fall weather. Take care and we love you all!

24 weeks!

Well, all is well in our 24th week! Baby Boy Gibbs (name will be released to the public very soon) :) is kicking me up a storm and I love every minute of it!! We have a nightly ritually that consists of me laying prompted up in bed and feeling him kick and move. Ray and I will lay there for at least 20 minutes, oohing and ahhing at the miracle of this baby! He has given us so much joy and I am sure we will be overwhelmed with joy when we get to hold him. His presents has also reminded us what is important. Those frustrating days at work seem to melt away when I feel him kick me. Maybe he is reminding me to chill out and enjoy the moment!

We "chilled" out last weekend with Grandma Terry and PoPa (Leslie's parents). They came over to work on projects. Ray and PoPa put the crib and changing table together while Grandma Terry and I cleaned and organized the dining room. We have miscellaneous stuff scattered around the house so the goal was to get everything that didn't belong into one place. we will figure out what to do with it all later but at least I can see what needs a new home! :)

Below are the pictures of the new furniture! More pics will come next week when we get the dresser in the room also!

I hope everyone has a great weekend! Love you all!

23 weeks... Uncharted territory

Sorry for the delay! We have been busy with work and stuff around the house. I have been working around the house with my mom (Grandma Terry) cleaning and organizing.

This week we start a new part of this adventure. We lost Grace last year at 22 weeks so moving forward we are in uncharted territory! We are so blessed to have this baby boy growing and developing inside of me and we know Grace is watching over all of us! :)

Speaking of growing... he started yesterday by letting me know he did not like my pants. I tried to wear those low under your belly pants but the elastic band was too tight. He is very low so the band was pushing on "his space" all day. It was the first time I really felt him moving while I was at work. I have a feeling he is going to be my little distraction at work from now on. If you see me smiling oddly in a meeting, you can guess why! :)

I know everyone check my blog just for the pics so here they are! Belly and a few random but I hope you enjoy!

Belly Shot 23 weeks

Ray helped me, so of course he had to get one of me sitting down!

One of the highlights of my past few weeks, I got a CARPET CLEANER! YEAH!
So the baby has nice clean carpets! (can you see the lines?)

Uncle Brian & Aunt Sarah (mostly Uncle Brian) are finishing up the dresser that they refurbished for us! This dresser came from Ray's Grandma Gibbs. It has been painted, new handles and new drawer liners! More pics to come!
I hope everyone has a great week! If you are not an "official" follower please let me know who is visiting by leaving comments. Love you all!

Due Date moved...

Well, my due date has been moved up a week so we have skipped right over 20 weeks and are now 21 weeks! Our visit to the high risk doctor went very well. Baby Boy Gibbs looks happy and healthy. He weights 1 lb 1 oz! He was moving around and putting his hands down by his "junk"!

We have confirmed that he is still a boy!

You can see that his mouth is open
We are very blessed to have a healthy baby growing and developing on schedule. Each day is spent being over joyed with the new and exciting future we cannot predict. Ray has been able to feel him kick. We lay in bed at night and poke and prod until we can get him to react. We both smile from ear to ear and take it all in. I promise to post some new belly pics soon. Until then have a great weekend and be safe! Love you all!

19 weeks and feeling great

Well, it was a great & relaxing LONG weekend! I was off on Friday and Monday so I was able to get a lot done around the house. We enjoyed the fireworks at Red, White & Boom from the parking lot of our friends restaurant on West Broad. We took Matt & Ashley (Ray's cousin) with us and had a blast. Below are a few pics

Last week we traded Ray's car in for a "family" car. Well, it's a family car because it has 4-doors! :) This is the car Ray has always wanted so he was able to get the right deal lined up and before we knew it we were driving home a new (used) car!!
We go back to the high risk doctor next week for our 20 week ultrasound. We are hoping and praying that everything looks good. If so we don't have to go back!! YEAH! We are in great spirits and are counting down the days. I feel like once we hit 20 weeks it will be time to count down rather than up. It will all be down hill from there! :)

Have a great week! Love you all!
