So Big! Loving his Bumbo...

Don't you love his cute scarlet & gray outfit!?! We had this outfit in the closet & had to get it on him before it was too small. He is quickly growing out of the Carter's 3 month sleepers. Side-note: I hate the sizing differences between stores! Just like for adults, every store is different! But I can try stuff on, it's a little hard to try things on a baby (and not get slobber on it)! Anyway, he is smiling, laughing and wanting to sit up. We are loving every minute!

Ray noticed that Parker kept trying to sit up while we were holding him so he busted out the Bumbo! Parker loves his new little place to sit and watch the big screen TV! We put him against the couch (like the pic above) so if his head leans back he has more support. He actually does really well. His personality comes out more and more each week.

Our alternative work schedule has been working out great. We seem to have a schedule down and Parker loves spending time with mommy and daddy. Last week was my birthday so the Hix Family watched Parker so Ray and I could go to dinner. We ended up going to Smokeybones and it was so nice to have some alone time. Parker enjoyed his time with the Hix family. Keegan was talking to Parker and making him laugh. Carter doesn't really know what to think of Parker but is very excited to spend the summer with him.

We are so lucky to be surrounded with such supportive family and friends! It really does take a village to raise a baby. Thank you for being part of our "village"! :)

13 weeks: Bath Time & Sleeping

So when do you start using months instead of weeks? Well, I think I am there. People have been looking at me weird when I say" Yeah, he is 13 weeks". So I am going to just switch to months now... :) I will keep posting each week new pics and some videos.

Have I mentioned how much Parker loves bath time? He loves to be in the water splashing and playing. Below is a video of a Friday night bath. I cannot wait for the summer to get here so we can go to the pool! He is going to be a water baby for sure!!

We are so lucky that Parker is sleeping through the night. He will eat around 8:30pm, go down around 9pm and will wake up around 5:30-6am! In the morning I feed him before I go to work so this schedule is working out great! I put him back in bed and then he will sleep until around 9am for Daddy. That is when Ray and Parker start their day together. The schedule is working out for all of us. We are so very lucky to have such a happy baby!

This is a 3 minute video of Parker "talking"! He loves to lay on his changing table and tell us stories. He is so darn cute!

11 weeks, we all survived!

The above pic is right after I told Parker he would be staying with is dad all day! :) I tease, Ray and Parker have done great this week. I went back to work this week (kinda short with a snow day and late start) and I also did well. Everyone at work was happy to see me and I am happy to be back into a routine. I won't lie it's not easy. Balancing everything is very tough and I feel pulled in many directions. I am still breastfeeding so trying to pump at work and keep up with feeding when I am home can be draining. I know it's the best for Parker and will take some getting use to as I settle back into work.

Now that I am back to the "real" world I am trying to figure out when to fit things in. This is the largest balancing act and I am sure we will figure out with time but man it's tough! It's nice that Ray has his bonding time with Parker and that they will be able to spend quality time together. We will just have to remember to carve sometime out for just Ray and I! I also promise to post some pics of Ray and Parker together. :) Here are some more pics from this week.

The double flash makes Parker look scared! :)

Poopa & Parker, all ready for Super Bowl Sunday! :)
