First try with cereal...

Well, Parker loved eating his cereal for the first time...

But his belly didn't like it! He woke up around 11pm and was super unhappy. He had bad gas & was fussy all night. Needless to say no more cereal for a while. Mom & Dad were excited to try something new. Next time we try something new it will be over a weekend when we don't have to get up so early for work. Lesson learned!

We won't be famous

Well, if you have been watching, One Born Every Minute, on Lifetime you know that the season one is over and we were not featured. I am ok, a little sad but I am ok! :)

We are very excited to receive our footage from the show and hope to share this with everyone we can! How many people have the opportunity to have their child's birth professionally taped and edited?? We are so grateful to have had this opportunity to tell our story and have Parker's birth documented in such a unique way.

Riverside hopsital did have everyone who was filmed come in for a day of education and fun. While we are there I told a short version of our delivery story. Here is a link to the video http://blog.birthofamom.com/2011/03/riverside-methodist-staff-go-the-extra-mile-for-mom-leslie/

Hope you enjoy!

4 month Dr Appt

Our little boy is getting so big! He just had his 4 month doctor's appointment and he is doing great! He weights 14lbs 15 oz and is 24 3/4 inches long. He had to get two shots but took them like a champ. Parker loves his new exersaucer and his feet now touch the ground. He is also putting everything in his mouth.

As you can see he is so happy. This is how he is the majority of the time. We are very lucky to have such a happy baby.
Below is a video of Parker doing tummy time on his Nap Nanny. Grandma Gibbs bought this for him and it's been very useful. We is so strong and loves to be on his belly.

So Big! 4 months old!

Where has the time gone? Parker is 4 months old! Well, technically he will be on 3/20 but I am trying to stay ahead of the game. Here are all of the things he has been doing:

- rolling over (back to front and front to back)
- grasp toys, they go straight to his mouth!
- he is following people with his eyes
- he is a "supported sitter", as categorized by Gerber!
- smiling and laughing (as you can see from the pics above)
- he is screeching with joy (very high pitch and funny)
- he loves kisses! :)

Ray just returned from a 5 day trip to Atlantic City. Parker and I spent the night with Poopa and Grandma Terry. This was Parker's first sleep over and he did great. I on the other hand was affected by the different bed and day light savings. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep. I am so grateful that my parents were there to help me through. Ray had a great time and came home with a little more than what he left with. Always a good thing! :)

I have heard from many of you that you love Parker's videos! We take a lot of them and selecting the best ones for you to view is hard. Below is a video of Parker in his Bumbo sucking on Ray's hand. He is crazy! :)

We hope everyone is doing well!

Highchair & rolling over

Parker tried out his highchair last week & loved it! He has been sitting with us while we eat & providing the entertainment! :)

Ray tried out the carrier...

Poor Parker! He is all swaddled up & no where to go. He is changing so much!
