Parker is 3!

Our little boy isn't so little! Parker is 3 years old now!!

He had a great birthday party with friends and family. He loved his Spiderman cupcake holders and loved all of his gifts. It was fun having his party at our house.

Parker is a smart cookie! Here are his favorite things to say and do right now:

- Seriously mommy, seriously! (yes he learned that from me)

- He loves to pretend to make food

- He will follow along with TV shows when they ask the audience questions

- He loves the movie Rio

- He loves to sing and dance, mostly sing. He will make up random songs and sing them when ever and where ever he is (example below)

- He loves to give random hugs and kisses

- He also likes to act out scenes with his Spiderman and Batman figures.

YouTube Video

Below are pics of Parker and his BFF Brycen. We took cookies to daycare for Brycen's birthday. We ended up doing this a day early but we wanted to be the first to wish Brycen a happy 3rd birthday!!

Parker's actual birthday fell on a Wednesday so we decided to treat him and us to dinner out! We went to Fusion Japanese Restaurant. It a guaranteed win since it's dinner and entertainment. Parker loves eating with his chop sticks, loves the eggies and he especially loves the "yum yum" sauce! Great time had by all!!

I also don't want to forget to also note a few other items about Parker at the ripe old age of 3! :)

- He weights 35lbs

- He is 37.5 inches tall

- He can now stand up and pee. He now clears the toilet :)

- He was discharged from the cardiology unit at Children's Hospital. He is healthy and no need to go back!

- He checks multiple times a day to make sure no one has taken is "junk" (private parts). Dr says this is normal! :)

Parker is 2!

Where has the time gone? Parker is turning 2 years old today!! He continues to amaze us everyday. There is never a dull moment and he keeps us on our toes. We recently celebrated his special day with friends and family. Parker had a blast seeing everyone and eating the DELICIOUS cupcakes!!

I promise he was really happy! The pic below is when everyone was singing to him... kinda freaked him out but when we were done he blew out the candles like a champ (we have been practicing)!

Parker is surround by some pretty amazing people. We are so lucky to have such great friends and family around to help Parker grow and develop. Thank you to everyone who was able to come help us celebrate Parker's special day!

He is still doing well at school and continues to amaze us with his smarts. Here are the fun things he says...

- PleaseThankyouWelcome (yes all one word)
- Come on, get up mommy/daddy
- I need that
- Cookie Monster (say it a quiet voice, in the dark) he calls all scary things Cookie Monster
- He sings "Happy Birfday to you, Happy Bifday to you, Happy Birfday to you"
- NO!

Conversations
Mommy: Do you want to have some milk?
Parker: Yes...because

Mommy: What is that animal?
Parker: Ummmmmmmmmmm....because

When he asks a question and I don't have a good answer I will just say "because", so now he does the same thing. He is a sponge!

Over the weekend he said, "Mommy, I spank you butt and timeout! Wow, guess he really is listening!! :)

My heart melts when I see him and Ray together...my boys :)

More pics and sappy stories to come :)

So Big! 4 months old!

Where has the time gone? Parker is 4 months old! Well, technically he will be on 3/20 but I am trying to stay ahead of the game. Here are all of the things he has been doing:

- rolling over (back to front and front to back)
- grasp toys, they go straight to his mouth!
- he is following people with his eyes
- he is a "supported sitter", as categorized by Gerber!
- smiling and laughing (as you can see from the pics above)
- he is screeching with joy (very high pitch and funny)
- he loves kisses! :)

Ray just returned from a 5 day trip to Atlantic City. Parker and I spent the night with Poopa and Grandma Terry. This was Parker's first sleep over and he did great. I on the other hand was affected by the different bed and day light savings. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep. I am so grateful that my parents were there to help me through. Ray had a great time and came home with a little more than what he left with. Always a good thing! :)

I have heard from many of you that you love Parker's videos! We take a lot of them and selecting the best ones for you to view is hard. Below is a video of Parker in his Bumbo sucking on Ray's hand. He is crazy! :)

We hope everyone is doing well!
